Forgiveness
Make room without rushing
When release feels a long way away
You do not have to force forgiveness to begin loosening the hold of a painful memory. Name what hurt and what protection or boundary is still needed. Give grief its place.
A small beginning might be a little time without rehearsing the hurt, or a willingness to let the past have less say in your next choice. Releasing bitterness does not require restoring trust or reopening a relationship.
What would one gentle step toward freedom look like, while honoring my boundaries?
