About this website

This is the website for Just Be by Ina Howard. It introduces the book and author and shares reflections. It has no visitor accounts, reader-submission forms, newsletter signup, advertising, or payment collection.

Browsing, cookies, and searching

The current site’s code does not set cookies, use browser local storage, or load analytics scripts. No cross-site tracking is built into the site. Its behavior does not change in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal.

Reflection search filters content already loaded in your browser. Search words and the selected topic appear in the page address, so they may be saved in browser history, included in shared links, or sent to a server when that address is loaded. Avoid entering personal information into search.

The public website uses Netlify for hosting and Cloudflare for domain and DNS services. Providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses and requested page addresses, to deliver and secure their services. See Netlify’s Privacy Statement and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Visitor analytics are not currently enabled.

Contacting Ina by email

If you email Ina using the address on the Contact page, she receives your email address, any sender name, and the contents of your message, including attachments you send. Correspondence is handled through Gmail and used to address your inquiry. Sending a message does not grant permission to publish it. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.

Google’s handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy.

Access and retention

Correspondence is intended for Ina and the service providers needed to deliver and store it, except when disclosure is required by law. Personal correspondence and contact details are not sold or used for targeted advertising.

Correspondence is kept as needed to address inquiries, manage ongoing correspondence, and meet applicable legal obligations. Service providers manage their own operational records and backups according to their policies.

If you have a question about how your email correspondence is handled, or would like to request a correction or deletion, contact askina.justbe@gmail.com. Requests will be considered in accordance with applicable law.

Other websites linked here have their own privacy practices. The date above will change when this notice is revised. Any new collection or use of personal information will be reflected in an updated notice.
